1. Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

The ceremony will take place in Dongen, followed by a toasting hour. The wedding reception will be held in The Hague.

 

2. Where should I stay?

For the wedding ceremony, our bridal party will be staying in the nearby city of Breda, approximately 20 minutes from our venue. For guests opting to stay in the area of Dongen, options include Gr8 Hotel Oosterhout in Oosterhout, Hotel De Villa in Dongen, and several others.

If you want to fully enjoy yourself at our wedding celebration and prefer not to drive, you can spend the night in The Hague. There are multiple hotels in the city center, with options including Moxy The Hague and Residence Inn by Marriott The Hague.

 

3. What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. This will allow ample time for parking, enjoying a drink, and finding a seat! Our wedding reception starts at 8:00 pm. Ensure you're on time for our entrance as a married couple.

 

4. What should I wear?

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up alongside us! We request cocktail/formal attire for our wedding. Please, no denim or jeans. Find all dresscode information on this website.

 

5. Can I bring a guest/date?

If your invitation includes a plus one or your guest's name is listed, then yes! Otherwise, we aim to keep our wedding an intimate gathering with close family and friends only.

 

6. Are children invited?

While we adore little ones, we kindly request that children not be brought along. Our wedding day is a child-free affair, and we hope parents can enjoy a night off.

 

8. Can I take & post pictures of your wedding on social media?

During the ceremony, we'll have an "unplugged ceremony," meaning no phones or cameras. We've hired professionals to capture these precious moments, and we promise to share our photos once available. After the ceremony, feel free to take and post as many pictures/videos as you'd like. Just tag each photo with our wedding hashtag: #DuNorWedding.

 

8. Will there be an open bar?
Absolutely! Both at the ceremony and the reception. Drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you. Get ready to party!

9. Will there be a buffet
No, there will not be a buffet. Instead, we offer a walking dinner with a variety of small dishes. This setup allows our guests to enjoy a diverse selection of gourmet bites while mingling and socializing throughout the event.

10. For which of the wedding activities am I invited?
For our wedding day, we have day guests and evening guests. With your official invitation, you will also receive an entrance pass for the activities you are invited to. Our guests coming from abroad are invited to all our wedding activities.

 

11. What should I do if I can't make it?

Your presence will be missed. If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Upon receiving the official invitation, kindly RSVP with 'I will not attend' so we can plan accordingly.
 

12. What would you like as a gift? Do you have any specific wishes?

Thank you for your kindness and generosity! We truly have everything we need, and don't have any specific gift requests. If you'd like, we would appreciate an envelope (cash gift) instead. This will help us purchase something meaningful that will always remind us of this special day.
